Oracle Spatial and ESRI Are Key to Nature Conservancy's Efforts
Since 1951, The Nature Conservancy has worked to secure the ecosystems that sustain human, plant, and animal life on our planet. Together, Oracle and ESRI provide critical spatial technology that enables the Conservancy to stay ahead of climate change, poorly planned developments, and other threats to the environment. Oracle Spatial and Oracle Map Viewer, with ESRI's ArcGIS software, allow for analyses to understand where to best deploy their limited resources and what kind of returns they are getting by region. This type of spatial-based decision making has grown in popularity not just with environmental agencies but throughout the commercial sector worldwide as well.
