The six modules currently proposed address the areas of asset management, image management, pavement management, space management, GIS data maintenance management, and utility and infrastructure management. The functions and objectives of the modules are as follows

  • CAT-A Asset Management is used to maintain an accurate inventory and location of all fixed and portable equipment.
  • CAT-I Image Management is used to manage an orthophoto image pyramid to display resampled images and differing ground pixel resolutions to provide for rapid image display over a wide range of scales.
  • CAT-P Pavement Management is used to manage all pavement inspection and work plan information.
  • CAT-S Space Management is used to plan, allocate, and modify the use of existing facilities to support occupant requirements.
  • CAT-T Tracker Management is used to input, track, and manage projects for required data maintenance updates to ArcInfo basemap coverages.
  • CAT-U Utilities and Infrastructure Management is used to spatially manage all aspects of the communities/operations facilities and infrastructure.
