Cartography Special Interest Group
The Carto Special Interest Group (SIG) provides a way to share and discuss cartography issues with ESRI product teams, users, and other interested colleagues. The primary focuses are to
- Strengthen relationships between ESRI product teams and the cartographic user community.
- Establish a common language and understanding about GIS-based cartography.
- Discuss and share map production needs, issues, and experiences.
- Determine cartographic functionality and priorities to advance the cartographic capabilities of the ESRI software suite.
- Coordinate the annual meeting at the ESRI International User Conference.
- Encourage and support other activities that would benefit this group and all users of ESRI-based cartographic production.
