AEJEE
ArcExplorer-Java Edition for Education (AEJEE) is a free, downloadable, lightweight tool for exploring geographic data, available for both Windows and Macinstosh OS X computers. AEJEE can make color-coded thematic maps, integrate a wide array of aerial photos and satellite imagery, plot GPS or lat/long data, and use data distributed over the Internet. AEJEE also can save and open projects so work can be shared between users or between home and the library. Learn more.
ArcGIS Desktop
ArcGIS is a complete desktop GIS package with tools for mapping, analysis, data editing, and map publishing. ArcGIS desktop is available at 3 levels of functionality: ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo. ArcView provides tools for creating/editing data, thematic mapping, address matching, creating graphs/charts, and performing statistical and spatial analysis. ArcEditor adds advanced editing for shapefiles and geodatabases. ArcInfo provides advanced geoprocessing and analysis tools. All levels provide tools for geocoding cardholder/visitor locations, demographic and boundary analysis, integrating CAD data for facilities management, map publication, and transportation planning. ArcGIS Extensions
ArcView extensions provide specialized tools for more sophisticated GIS analysis or to enhance ArcGIS Desktop’s capabilities. The extensions most commonly used are Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, and 3D Analyst. Additional extensions are available from ESRI Business Partners.Learn more.
ArcGIS Business Analyst
ArcGIS Business Analyst combines GIS technology with extensive business, demographic, and consumer household data in one easy-to-use application. A series of wizard-driven analysis tools guide users through common market analysis tasks, including ring analysis, customer prospecting, site selection, and trade area delineation. Data are updated annually, and include 5-year projections for more than 1,500 Census demographic variables. Learn more.
ArcGIS Image Server
ArcGIS Image Server combines image processing and image distribution to provide fast access to large volumes of aerial photography, satellite imagery, scanned maps, digital terrain models, and other sources of geospatial imagery. Its on-the-fly image processing allows multiple image products to be created from a single source, such as views of different band combinations, or views in different map projections. This eliminates the need to store multiple versions of a given image, simplifying management and reduce storage needs.Learn more.
ArcGIS Server
ArcGIS Server is a comprehensive Web-based GIS for spatial data management, mapping, and spatial analysis. Server-based GIS provides maximum flexibility for deploying GIS tools and data throughout your organization in ways that support both casual and advanced users. ArcGIS Online
ArcGIS Online is a family of Web-based products and resources that enhance and extend the ArcGIS user experience. ArcGIS Online Content, hosted by ESRI and powered by ArcGIS Server, provides ready-to-use content and capabilities for ArcGIS users including 2D map and 3D globe services as well as tasks that can be executed directly from ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Explorer. BusinessMAP
BusinessMAP is an affordable mapping application that transforms information from databases, contact managers, and spreadsheets into pushpin and color-filled maps. A complete GIS dataset including street maps for the United States and Canada, Census demographics for the U.S., and over 18 million business locations from Dun & Bradstreet for the U.S. is provided with the software. BusinessMAP also includes tools for market analysis, such as ring studies and site selection.Learn more.
Community Data
Community Data provides demographic and lifestyle information in a number of formats (DVD, Web, print) at a range of scales, from Census Block Group details to statewide summaries. Community Data appear in a number of products, including the CommunityInfo for Education DVD and the Community Sourcebooks.
  • CommunityInfo for Education provides Census 2000 data in shapefile format for use with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcView 3.x, or ArcExplorer. Specifically designed for educators with affordable pricing and special licensing options CommunityInfo for Education contains a variety of data from Census Summary File 3.
  • The Community Sourcebooks include more than 80 data variables for every U.S. ZIP Code or county in an easy-to-use reference book format. Contents include 2005 post-hurricane population findings, Census 2000 information, demographic updates and forecasts, consumer spending data, business data, and Community Tapestry segmentation data. The combined data (County and ZIP) are also available on a single CD–ROM called Community Sourcebook•America with ArcReader.

GIS Portal Toolkit and GIS Portal Extensions for ArcGIS
ESRI's GIS Portal Toolkit is a technology and services solution for implementing local, regional, national, and global spatial data infrastructure (SDI) portals. GIS portals organize content and services such as directories, search tools, community information, support resources, data, and applications. They provide capabilities to query metadata records for relevant data and services and link directly to the online sites that host content services.
