Special GIScience Research Track
Deadline to submit an abstract: January 12, 2009
We invite educators and graduate students involved in cutting-edge research in GIScience to present a peer-reviewed paper in a special joint GIScience Research Track with the 2009 ESRI Educational User and International User Conferences.
Abstract Guidelines
- Maximum 500 words
- Submit by e-mail to Dr. John Wilson, University of Southern California.
- The Transactions in GIS editorial team will review abstracts based on their GIScience content and select nine abstracts to become full papers.
- Notice of acceptance will occur by December 22, 2008.
Full Paper Guidelines
- Maximum 6,000 words plus figures, tables, and references in appropriate format for publication
- Submit by e-mail for independent review by February 15, 2009.
- Reviewed papers will be returned to authors by March 15, 2009.
- Final manuscripts must be returned by April 8, 2009, to be included in the special issue of Transactions in GIS that will be distributed at the 2009 EdUC and ESRI UC.
