Corporate Citizenship

GIS Helps the World

ESRI develops the world's leading geographic information system technology. This technology enables organizations of all sizes in both the public and private sectors to take advantage of their geographic data. GIS is an important tool—one that helps shape the world around us.

GIS Users Make a Difference

Organizations use GIS to analyze complex situations, visualize problems, and create plans and solutions. They are also increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and helping people make faster and better decisions. GIS improves the processes of communication and collaboration for better coordination across organizations. These hundreds of thousands of individual GIS efforts contribute toward better management of our planet.

Corporate Initiatives

Community Support

ESRI participates in public service initiatives, community outreach, and volunteerism, particularly in the communities surrounding ESRI headquarters in Redlands, California. In addition, ESRI regularly donates trees and horticultural materials to local schools, parks, and common areas. ESRI also donates surplus office equipment and computer hardware and software to schools and non-profit organizations.

Developing and Supporting Staff

ESRI’s collaborative, open, and dynamic environment allows employees to work together to see ideas become successful solutions. Their contributions have a real impact not only on the next generation of GIS technology and services but on society and the world, continually extending the benefits of the geographic approach. The diversity in our employee base helps contribute to unique approaches to problem solving. ESRI supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits program, tuition reimbursement, and a scholarship program.
